Jason Tien
Ph.D. 2009

Ming-Chun Tien was born in Taiwan, in 1979. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan, in 2001 and the M.S. degree from the Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, NTU, in 2003. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in electrical engineering at University of California, Berkeley, and expect to graduate in summer 2009. His research interests include optical MEMS, silicon photonics, nano-technology, and microwave photonics.
