received double BS degrees from North Carolina State University in 2007 in Electrical Engineering and Physics. He also received a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley in 2009. He is currently a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow. His research interests lie in the area of novel applications of plasmonic and metal-optic nanostructures. Amit has authored nine papers in leading technical journals and conferences. He has also received the McCormick Award for Undergraduate Research from N.C. State University and the Frank and Margaret Lucas Scholarship from U.C. Berkeley.
