Jui-Ming (Ryan) Yang
Ph.D. 2009

Jui-Ming (Ryan) Yang received the B.S. degree in Power Mechanical Engineering from the National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, in 2003 and his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005. In CMU, he worked on single cell and single molecule manipulations via microfluidic devices. He joined Professor Liwei Lin’s research group in 2005. His current research is focused on micro-heating elements and thermal imaging of single living cells.
