Steven Lanzisera received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009, and he received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2002. He is currently a researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory studying national energy problems and technology solutions.
His research interests include wireless communication, low-power embedded systems, end energy use, wireless building monitoring and control, and energy policy. He was an engineer with the Space Physics Research Laboratory at the University of Michigan from 1999 to 2002 where he worked on satellite integration and testing.
