Babak Jamshidi received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at University of California at Berkeley in 2008. His doctoral work involved MEMS and semiconductor design and fabrication. He earned the certificate of Management of Technology (MOT) from Walther A. Haas School of Business in 2006. He is currently working as a research and development engineer at FormFactor, Inc. Dr. Jamshidi has also worked at companies and startups such as Toyota Motor Company, Silicon Clocks, PAX Scientific as MEMS specialist and analyst respectively. Prior to continue his graduate studies at UC Berkeley, he was a structural designer at Sazeh Consultants company. In July 1997, he graduated from Sharif University of Technology with Bachelors in Civil Engineering. He is currently referees technical publications for the Institute of Physics (IoP) electronic journals.
