BIOGRAPHY
Nazly Pirmoradi received the M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 2006 and 2011, respectively, where she has been a postgraduate fellow of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). She joined BSAC as a postdoctoral scholar in Feb. 2012, working on developing next generation therapeutic delivery devices and microcapsules. Her research interests are in the design and development of micro- and nano- devices and systems for biotech and biomedical applications, lab on a chip systems, and microactuators.
