Research Interests: Analog/Mixed Signal IC design and design of circuits and systems for MEMS, power management, and harsh environment applications. Job Interests: Academic or Industry R&DBIOGRAPHY Ayden received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2009. Prior to joining BSAC, he has held design engineer positions with I/O Center of Excellence group of Cypress Semiconductor and Semisouth Laboratories designing Silicon Carbide (SiC) JFET based analog/digital blocks for high temperature and power management applications. HEaTS: SiC Devices and ICs for Harsh Environment Sensing [BPN638] The main objective of this research is to design and develop low power Silicon Carbide (SiC) based transistors and Integrated Circuits (ICs) that can withstand the elevated temperature, up to 600°C. The fabricated ICs will be integrated with the SiC-based sensors to develop high temperature sensing systems for various harsh environment applications. |
