Research Interests: Renewable Energy, Photovoltaics, Electrochemistry Job Interests: Industry R&D, Start-up Company R&DBIOGRAPHY Peter Lobaccaro was born in Red Bank, NJ in 1989. He attended Holmdel High School and continued on to the University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate education. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BAS in Chemical Engineering with minors in Materials Science and Energy Engineering. His senior thesis was on photochemical water splitting utilizing a strontium titanate/titanium dioxide heterostructure decorated with cobalt oxide cubane catalytic nanoparticles. He currently attends the University of California: Berkeley where he is co-advised under Prof. Roya Maboudian (Chemical Engineering) and Prof. Ali Javey (Electrical Engineering). His research is focused on the electrodeposition of high quality III-V thin film solar cells. |
