BSAC Overview/Open Session

The BSAC Syndicated Research Model involves members pooling funds for early stage research and faculty leveraging those funds into much larger federal awards the results of which are disclosed to members up to 12 months prior to publication. Members can optionally target research to their specific needs with support of faculty and student researchers. Japan members frequently send researchers to spend one to three years embedded in a faculty research group to enhance technology adoption by their parent corporation.
