Mainstreaming of MEMS: One Example – Texas Instrument's Digital Micro-mirror Device for Display Applications
With over 26 million chip-sets deployed to the field over the course of the past 15+ years of manufacturing, our organization has built a significant infrastructure in MEMS/MOEMS capabilities for our specific technology direction. In this course of this presentation, I will provide an introduction to the surface-MOEMS technology and the business segments we compete within along with providing some general observations we have made in our organization for a successful MOEMS/MEMS endeavor.
