PolySilicon-Filled Carbon Nanotube Grass Structural Material
This work explores polysilicon-filled carbon nanotube grass as a potential structural material for micro and nanomechanical devices. So far, measured 28-kHz folded-beam comb-driven resonators constructed of this material have yielded an effective material acoustic velocity of 9,000 m/s.
