Low-Power, High-Performance Electronics and Sensors on Bendable Substrates
Flexible large-scale devices are of interest for wearable human interface applications. We have developed a technique of "nanowire contact printing" for the integration of high-performance inorganic nanowire materials on any substrates. This project is to realize large scale flexible devices by utilizing our developed inorganic nanowire printing method. As one of applications, we here demonstrate mechanically flexible large scale artificial skin sensor. Notably, the device can provide impressive mechanical robustness and electrical properties while the integration of nanomaterials and macrodevices represents an important milestone toward the realization of future portable electronic applications.
