High-Throughput CMOS Detector for Magnetic Immunoassays
I will describe a microsystem that combines Hall-Effect sensors with CMOS electronics to detect individual micron-sized beads in a fully integrated fashion.
The micro-system uses the inherent dynamics of the bead magnetization to provide a baseline free measurement, and a column parallel,highly compact and power efficient acquisition chain to provide energy efficient detection.
The system enables a full 2.8um bead-based immuno-assay with 10000 sensors to be performed in 100mS.
