UC Berkeley Planets Process Homepage

UCB has a contract to provide access to advanced IC processes. We currently are participating in their Planets program, and we generally have access to one or more CMOS processes that are a few generations older than state of the art. The devices are placed on multi-user runs with contributions from various industrial and academic designers. For more process details, please contact the liaison.

This page is a summary only, and most information regarding this agreement is confidential.

• Runs occur between monthly and quarterly depending on the process.
• Run dates will be made available after the user has an approved project plan.
• The turn around time is 7-10 weeks assuming nothing unusual happens, such as a customer pushing us out of the queue.
