Research Interests: Implantable microsystems, harsh environment sensors, MEMS
Levent is currently working toward his PhD degree with Prof. Liwei Lin and Prof. Albert P. Pisano in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley. His research focuses on implantable and wearable devices and SiC-based harsh environment stable sensors. He is also working in collaboration with Prof. Arnau Benet, MD from UC San Francisco Neurological Surgery Department.
Prior to his PhD studies, he received his bachelor's in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, and master's degree in Micro-Nanotechnology from Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey in 2010 and 2013, respectively. He received HHMI International Student Fellowship, Milliken&Co Research Honorarium and the outstanding presentation award at the Transducers'13 conference.
